THE RECORDS

THE LABELS

THE BLUE AND SILVER LABELS ARE IN JUST MAGNIFICENT CONDITION. THE DEEP BLUE COLOUR IS RICH AND VIBRANT AND HAS NO MARKS OR STAINS ON IT ANYWHERE. IT AlsO STRECTHES FULLY INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE SILVER TYPEFACE AND LOGO'S ARE ALSO IN PRISTINE UNRUBBED CONDITION, WITH EACH LETTER OF THE TYPEFACE PERFECTLY LEGIBLE.

A CLOSE STUDY OF THE SPINDLE HOLE REVEALS JUST 3-4 SPIDER LINES, SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS INCREDIBLE VINYL HAS BEEN PLAYED IN THE PAST 55 YEARS

THE VINYL

A GLEAMING DISC THAT HAS RETAINED ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL LUSTRE AND SHEEN. THIS IS NATURALLY ALSO A HEAVY WEIGHT EARLY PRESS DISC.

PLACING THE VINYL UNDER A MAGNIFYING LED HALO I CAN SEE THAT THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SIGNS OF PLAY. A TINY SURFACE MARK ON THE OUTER RIM OF SIDE ONE. PLUS A FEW VERY FINE HAIRLINES AND A FEW SLEEVE WITHDRAWAL HAIRLINES. MOST OF THESE ARE SUPERFICIAL

PLAYING THE RECORD

THE RICH AND POWERFUL STEREO SOUND IS VERY CLEAN, CLEAR AND LOUDLY PRODUCED

YOU WILL NOT HEAR ANY EMBEDDED VINYL NOISE
NOR ANY DISTORTION TO THE SOUND WHICH MEANS NO GROOVE WEAR
NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE AND NO SKIPS, STICK OR LOUD CLICKS OR POPS

THE LINKING GROOVES ARE SILENT / NEAR SILENT

ALL I HEARD DURING THE PLAYTHROUGH WERE SOME RANDOM VERY TINY LITTLE TICS.
ALSO SOME LIGHT LOW LEVEL BACKGROUND HERE AND THERE
THE FINAL TRACK ON SIDE TWO HAS SOME LIGHT ROTATIONAL ONES AT THE START
TAKE A LISTEN TO THE RECORDINGS
I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THE AUDIO EX+, BUT PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN AND JUDGE IT FOR YOURSELF

THE SLEEVE

FIRSTLY THIS IS THE FIRST PRESS SLEEVE WITH THE LAMINATED FRONT SURFACE AND THE NON LAMINATED REAR. ALSO ONLY FIRST PRESS SLEEVES HAD THE PORTHOLE ON THE REAR SURFACE SHOWING THE INNER SLEEVE'S COLOUR THROUGH IT. THERE IS ALSO NO PRINTER CREDIT WHICH IS ONLY FOUND ON THE FIRST BOXED LABEL SLEEVES

THE FRONT SURFACE IS IN FLAT AND CLEAN CONDITION AND HAS NO HEAVY CREASING OR BENDING TO ANY PART OF IT, NOR ARE THERE ANY DEFECTS TO THE LAMINATE ITSELF. SO NO PEEL, LIFT OR FLAKE

IHERE ARE SEVEN SMALL PRESSURE LINES BY THE SPINE. FIVE ALONG THE TOP EDGE, FIVE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE AND THEE VERY SMALL THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE

THE FOUR CORNERS ARE STILL PRETTY WELL SQUARE WITH A DOT OF RUB ON A COUPLE OF THEM

THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES ARE FREE FROM ANY SHELF WEAR AT ALL, EVEN THE TIP ENDS ARE UNBLEMISHED

THE SPINE HAS A VERY TINY BIT OF FLATTENING. THE LAMINATE IS ALL INTACT. THE TYPEFACE PERFECT AND THE ENDS  ARE UNBLEMISHED

THE OPENING EDGE  SHARP CONDITION,WITH JUST A FEW MINUSCULE THUMB NAIL NICKS

THE REAR SURFACE IS AGAIN FREE FROM ANY HEAVY CREASING AND BENDS. DUE TO IT BEING UNLAMINATED THERE IS THE USUAL VERY LIGHT TRACES OF HANDLING ALONG THE OUTER EDGES. THERE IS A TINY SHADOW OF RECORD SHAPE

THE BLUEL RED RIMMED INNER SLEEVE DEPICTING A STEREO PRESSING IS INCLUDED. IT IS THE CORRECT FIRST ISSUE INNER WITH THE TRACK LISTING ON IT AND THE UNCENSORED BACH CHOIR CREDIT FOR 'YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT'
THERE ARE NO SEAM SPLITS AND NO CREASES. A COUPLE OF STAINS ON THE REAR

THE POSTER IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION, HAVING NEVER BEEN NEAR A WALL. ALL OF THE FOLD LINES ARE RAZOR SHARP AND IS IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS HAS JUST HARDLY BEEN OPENED LET ALONE TAKEN OUT OF THE SLEEVE. THERE IS ONE TINY CORNER CREASE LINE WHERE I SUSPECT IT HAS BEEN SAT AWKWARDLY IN THE SLEEVE

I AM HAPPY TO GRADE THE SLEEVE EX+

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BID IF YOU CHOSE TO GO FOR IT
