To celebrate it's 15th year as a label, Magic Bullet goes all the way back to catalog #001, with Boy Sets Fire’s “This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice is Being Born” first pressing on vinyl.

 

This political, post-hardcore band have had releases on Equal Vision, Hydra Head, Victory, Burning Heart, Initial & Death Wish Records. With this very special project, Magic Bullet are going back to the humble, DIY roots of the label, & they’ve completed an amazing chipboard jacket, with a stark and simple 1-color black ink treatment with original artwork and insert. All 6 songs have room to breathe across both sides of a 12" format (spun at 45 rpm). Comes complete with digital download codes, original American Civics 101 inserts, and green and grey colors of vinyl (first pressing). 2nd pressing light blue, with pink and purple.

 

Boy Sets Fire is a post-hardcore band from Newark, Delaware and West Chester, Pennsylvania that formed in October 1994. Boy Sets Fire is composed of guitarists Chad Istvan and Josh Latshaw, drummer Matt Krupanski, vocalist Nathan Gray, and bassist Marc Krupanski.

 

This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice Is Being Born is the first EP by Delaware band Boy Sets Fire. It was originally released in 1996 (limited to 1100 copies on 12" vinyl) but due to record label problems, it wasn't widely available until 2000.
