Description of quality of record and cover. (I include details about condition of vinyl and cover. The grading is conservative.  I play all records and note the sound quality in the details.)

The records have a few light scratches that have no effect on the sound on side 2,3 4. Side 1 has short scratch that cause a few pops on track 1&2. A few more pop on side 1 but no more that 3 in series. I found the overall sound quality excellent. I rate the record as Very Good +.

The surface is in VG+ condition with slight of surface wear / ring wear and dirt pick up. I rate as Very Good+.

Vinyl Record Ratings

NM, Near Mint

The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. 

There may be very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc plays with no audible noise. 

VG++, Excellent or Very Good ++

Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There may be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl should be bright and shiny.

VG+, Very Good +

Vinyl shows some visible surface wear, like very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality. I enjoyed the sound quality and noted only a few songs that have soft background. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye.  If the flaws have minimal impact on the sound quality, the vinyl can still make the VG+ grade.  

VG, Very Good

Vinyl may have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. 

It does not look great, but it will STILL plays very good. 

The Dynamics should still be excellent, overpowering the surface noise. 

Album Cover Ratings

NM, Near Mint

Cover may have very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Cover artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

VG++, Excellent or Very Good ++

The disc may have minor disc impression or slight corner creases. There may be no deep wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+, Very Good +

Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and shows slight wear. There may be the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, or seam wear. Corners may have small creases or fraying.

VG, Very Good

Covers are worn and used. Seams may be starting to split or may have been unobtrusively repaired with clear tape.  There is moderate ring wear, but the artwork is still attractive.

Every record I sell I clean and inspect for scratches, scuffs and warping. I then play each record to test for background noise. I report any defect I discover and only sell records that are a pleasure to play. All my record jackets are cleaned and I put original jacket covers on all my records. If the record sleeve is missing or damaged I replace with a new high quality sleeve. I put a clear plastic cover on all the records I sell. I want to protect the record for future use.

I ship Records by Media Mail the most economical shipping method. It takes from 6-14 days to arrive. I separate the vinyl record / Sleeve from the jacket to prevent seam splitting and wrap the record in bubble wrap. I use cardboard to reinforce my packaging so it can not bent.
