VINYL RECORD GRADING:

VG = Surface noise may be evident upon playing but they will not overpower the music.  Groove wear will start to be noticeable as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail).  The label may be marred by writing.

G = Good does not mean Bad!  A record in good condition can be put on a turntable and should play through without skipping.  It will have surface noise, scratches and groove wear.

JACKET GRADING:

VG = The jacket may be marred by writing or have tape, stickers or residue attached.  There may be some minor seam splits and minor discoloration due to age.

G = The jacket will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine.  Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects may be evident.
