BEATLES / REVOLVER: Capitol ST 2576 / 1st U.S. Stereo Release- Full Label Names

Offered is a great classic in recording history, Revolver, by the Beatles. This one is the 1st American release of the album, with the Beatles' full names listed on the label credits (see photos).

Wikipedia provides this information about Revolver:

"Revolver is the seventh by the English band . It was released on 5 August 1966 by in the United Kingdom and on 8 August 1966 by in the United States. The album was produced by and features many tracks with an electric guitar-rock sound that contrasts with their previous , the -inspired (1965). In Britain, the 14 tracks from Revolver were released to radio stations throughout July 1966, "building anticipation for what would clearly be a radical new phase in the group's recording career". Of the 13 eventual studio albums released by the group, Revolver represents the middle album, and its music represents the Beatles' "middle period."

THE VINYL:  EX+ : The disc has a deep gloss with little indication that it was ever played. Under a bright light, there is only one mark- a very light, barely visible 3" thin scratch on Side 1. Side 2 has no marks.

THE COVER:  EX+ :  As with the disc, the cover has been well cared for. There are a few small smudges on the back side of the cover; otherwise it is NM. All of the seams are intact; sharp corners; no writing or paper loss. I have placed the disc in a plastic lined inner sleeve to better protect its condition.
