Victor 47116 (Argentina)

Artist: Andrés Chazarreta y su Orquesta Tipica de Arte Nativo
Tracks: Cuando Nada te Debia (Bailecito Bolivian) / Zamba Alegre (Baile Combinado)

Terrific Argentine folk disc - Chazarreta was an astute guitar player and folklorist, sort of like the Bascom Lamar Lunsford of Argentina. He knew traditional music well. I think this "Arte Nativo" group is one of his very best, with rustic fiddles that are prominent, and an unobtrusive accordion. Sounds very rural. Recorded Fall of 1929. One tune is Bolivian - really nice disc!

Condition: E- (clean, strong player, sm bump/warp needs a little weight to pass for a couple grooves, nice sticker)

I will be selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.
