Record Vinyl and Jacket Grading:

Still Sealed (SS) - the vinyl record can not be visually graded as it is still sealed.

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-5 times, in "like new" condition. Record jacket, pristine.

Very Good + (VG+) - The record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record still in excellent condition but may show minor surface scuffs, small dust particles, hairline to light scratches that shouldn't affect one's listening experiences.

The LP jacket cover may show minor signs of wear such as no ringwear or very light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and light creasing.

The label may have some ring wear, very small spindle marks, slight discoloration that will be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.

Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves may have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. Jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.
