"I LOST MY LITTLE GIRL" ( Paul McCartney, 1956.)
PERFORMED BY PAUL McCARTNEY LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME, 25th JANUARY,1991.

"Now... gonna play a song which.... it was the first song I ever wrote, when I was fourteen.
We've done an arrangement on it, you see.  You take a 'G' and you take a 'G 7' and then the 'C'.
That's all there is really.  A bit of 'F', I must admit."

Well, I woke up late this morning,
My head was in a whirl,
Only when I realized,
I lost my little girl.

Well, her clothes were not expensive,
Her hair didn't always curl,
I don't know why I loved her,
But I loved my little girl.

Well, gather round people,
Let me tell you the story,
The very first song I wrote.

Well, gather round people,
Let me tell you the story,
The very first song I wrote.

Well, I woke up late this morning,
My head was in a whirl,
Only when I realized,
I lost my little girl.

"Thank you, thank you!  We never did it because of that line.....
'Her hair wouldn't always curl.'
Couldn't handle that line."
PAUL McCARTNEY:"Unplugged - The Official Bootleg" UK LIMITED EDITION LP OF ONLY 250,000 MADE WORLDWIDE.
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE UK UNPLAYED, FIRST AND ONLY PRESSING ONTO VINYL, FACTORY SEALED IN SHRINK
WRAPPING, 100% ENCASING THE ENTIRE COVER, NO PARTED SEAMS OR TEARS.

THE STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION UK VINYL PRESSING IN ENGLAND BY EMI, WAS ISSUED 20th MAY,1991.

THE FRONT COVER BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER, HAS THE LIMITED EDITION NUMBER PRINTED IN BLACK: 17949

I CAN ONLY ASSUME PAUL WAS IN AN INTERNATIONAL MOOD AFTER HIS "Tripping The Light Fantastic" WORLDWIDE
TOUR, BECAUSE "Unplugged - The Official Bootleg," WAS RELEASED ON A LABEL I CAN ONLY NAME AS 'EUROPEAN'.
THE LANGUAGE ON THE LABELS AND COVER ARE IN SPANISH, CAUSING CONFUSION FROM THE DAY IT WAS FIRST
BRIEFLY SEEN IN UK RECORD SHOPS.   THE LABELS WERE CUSTOM DESIGNED AND ARE NOT ACTUALLY SPANISH, PAUL
MUST HAVE WANTED TO UNIFY THE ALBUM, BECAUSE EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WAS IN THE SAME FORMAT.
A UK CATALOGUE NUMBER WAS SPECIFIED ON THE BACK AND THE SPINE, ALL WILL BE POSITIVELY DESCRIBED HERE.
Of course I cannot present pictures of the inner sleeve, record, labels or the maitrix, just the details on the cover through the
shrink warpping.  I have never before seen a factory sealed, UK pressed and printed "Unplugged - The Official Bootleg," before
now, the first and probably last time I will have this privilege.  With 25 years experence of dealing with the standard UK
unsealed"Unplugged -The Official Bootleg" LP's, I can still give all the details to verify the authenticity without breaking the
seal, which I would never consider doing for such a worldwide, major rarity.

The cover, labels and the original inner sleeve were definitely printed in England and the vinyl was pressed in England by EMI.
This was 1991, not the late 1990's -2000's, 25 years ago all EMI records and printed items were still made in England as usual,
all the clues are there to positively place everything as UK made. The fact the CD version had standard English language printed,
does strongly suggest it was indeed Paul's idea exclusively for those who bought the Limited Edition vinyl, the fact it had to be
a Limited pressing in the first place, demonstrates how low the demand for vinyl was in 1991.....plus it was an official bootleg!
Look round ebay today and the majority of counterfeit albums, particularly the picture discs and colour vinyl, claim to originate
in countries as far apart as Australia, Brazil and Canada.  In reality we all know they are being made in Eastern Europe and with
CD sales pushing vinyl into near extinction by 1991, an unplayed UK first pressing is a rare album...add in still being sealed in
shrink wrapping, this a very special Paul McCartney album.

A GREEN & SILVER LABEL WITH AND A FICTITIOUS 'Hispa Vox' LOGO NEXT TO PAUL'S 'MPL' LOGO, THE TEXT
IS AS FOUND ON THE BACK OF THE COVER, IN SPANISH.  CONFUSED?  EVERYONE WAS IN 1991 AND LITTLE HAS
CHANGED IN 2016!  I WILL BE CORRECTLY SHARING THE CREDITS FOR  THE UK CATALOGUE NUMBER, EVEN
WITHOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF THE MAITRIX, I KNOW FOR CERTAIN  IT WILL UNMISTAKABLY THAT OF EMI'S
PRESSING PLANT IN HAYES, MIDDLESEX, ENGLAND.

PARLOPHONE /' HISPA VOX' LABEL: PCSD 116

ALTHOUGH I CANNOT ACCESS THE  MAITRIX OF A SEALED RECORD, AS SO FEW PRESSINGS WERE MADE IN THE UK,
I CAN GIVE A VERY CLOSE APPROXIMATION OF THE MACHINE STAMPING.
  MAITRIX:  7964131   A  - 1 - 1 - 1  /  7964131   B - 1 - 1 - 1
Located at 6 o'clock in the run-out grooves, the letters and digits were exclusive to EMI's pressing plant, exactly as found on
all Paul's albums after 1982, then until the latter part of the 1990's decade, no way was this record pressed in Spain. With only
the one strictly limited number of records pressed, the above will be found on virtually all the UK records.

INSIDE WILL BE A MINT 1991 EMI INNER SLEEVE, A LATE 1980's TYPE WITH, 'Made In Great Britain' AND POSSIBLY
  A DATE OF MANUFACTURING.

THE COVER IS THICKLY TEXTURED WITH ALMOST EMBOSSED OR SLIGHTLY RAISED BLACK PRINTING, SO ARE THE
GOLD STARS ON PAUL'S GUITAR.   A SUPERB TOP QUALITY COVER, BUT NOT EXACTLY CONDUCIVE TO WEAR WITH A
CREAM COLOUR BACKGROUND, BUT SEALED INSIDE THE SHRINK WRAPPING, TOTALLY UNWORN WITH ONLY A LIGHT
RECORD IMPRESSION AND A FEW RELATED RIPPLES FROM STANDING UNUSED.   I NEVER GRADE UNUSUED, FULLY
PROTECTED SHRINK WRAPPED COVERS THAT ARE STILL LIKE BRAND NEW, ESPECIALLY WHEN FACTORY SEALED AND
UNOPENED IN 25 YEARS. THE COVER IS IN THE ULTIMATE CONDITION AND BEST VIEWED IN THE ABOVE PICTURES.

THE RECORD IS IN UNPLAYED, MINT CONDITION.

Recorded 25th January 1991, At Limehouse Studios, Wembley, For MTV 's 'Unplugged' Programme.
Cable TV's "Unplugged" series of programes was a brilliant conception, top artists such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Neil Young
and Rod Stewart were filmed performing a live set and only acoustic instruments were allowed. In 1991, after the massive world
tour with extensive recording's released as "Tripping The Light Fantastic", all transport problems involved with instruments etc.
made the simplicity of turning up with acoustic instruments really appealing to Paul.  Happy days with Linda at his side on stage
and during the stress and strains of such a draining tour, of all the Beatles, Paul was the first to hit the road with a new band
and even start it very low key on the Universities circuit with Wings.  He just loved performing live and to even this day, he's
still up there on stage, always available for charity and wildlife events as well. Plus he was keen to play in front of the small
audiences "Unplugged"  insisted on after all the huge stadiums, so he and the above touring band set up in Limehouse Studios in
Wembley and performed an astonishing set in front of only 200 people, who were specially invited along on the 25th January,1991.
I am giving specific dates because this might seem fairly recent to some, but not for everyone because twenty three years ago is
more than long enough for a new generation of Beatles and solo collectors. They performed the most varied songs and so varied, it
even included the first song he ever wrote aged fourteen, "I Lost My Little Girl" was being played live for the very first time.
As the album is titled "The Official Bootleg" I will include some unofficial details only known to those who follow my obsessive
collecting of every scrap of music the Beatles ever made with a tape machine running.  Exactly twenty two years earlier, during
the January,1969 "Get Back" rehearsals, John and Paul were remembering their earliest songs, with acoustic guitars they suddenly
began to play the still remembered "I Lost My Little Girl", they really loved it, singing with great vocal harmonies as a duo,
and an almost complete rendition.  John Lennon surprisingly remembered most of the verses and sang the lead vocals, most Beatles
bootlegs are readily available on the internet, type the title on 'You Tube' and you can hear the whole five minutes in perfect
sound.  In January, 1969, the Beatles were getting nostalgic with the end imminent, but only "One After 909" was revived from
their pre-fame era and performed that live on the rooftop for inclusion on the 1970 "Let It Be"  album and film.  Or you can find
Paul and John's performance in 1969 on a bootleg, I recommend the 'Yellow Dog' CD titled "Get Back And 22 Other Songs", the
catalogue number is 'YD 14', I am not allowed to sell bootlegs but I can certainly recommend the best sound quality.  It was a
revelation to hear Paul performing it on "Unplugged" not only that lost song, for Beatles fans "Unplugged" also offers you plenty
of other 'oldies' the Beatles performed in those 1969 "Get Back" rehearsals.  Not forgetting that as well as that first ever live
version of "I Lost My Little Girl," fully detailed in my above opening lyrics, he turned to two other Beatles songs he previously
never performed live before, "Here, There And Everywhere" and "And I Love Her."  From his first solo album in 1970, he gave live
renditions of, "That Would Be Something" & "Junk" for the very first time, both written and recorded while still in the Beatles,
add in Linda who provided harmonies on the glorious "McCartney" album in 1970, "Unplugged" was a very, very special album.

1991 was an era when most artists had written off vinyl and now only CD's mattered, Neil Young was not having it and to Paul's
eternal credit he never went  down that road, he always had vinyl versions available, if in limited numbers!  "Unplugged" was a
Limited Edition of only 250,000, around the world, so the UK version with 'PCSD 116'  was only available in really low amounts.
They are actually individually numbered on the front cover's bottom right corner, the "White Album" immediately comes to mind but
that was pressed in slightly larger numbers!  The UK CD versions had English text, yet LP covers had it all in Spanish, I gave an
opinion why he insisted on the label design and the cover having one foot in 'Parlophone' and the other in the 'Hispa Vox' label.
That applied to every record pressed and every cover made worldwide, which reinforces that was for only for the vinyl editions,
I realise virtually every UK record seller who is not actually a record collector, will not understand so many Spanish pressings
existing...even though it is one rare LP in the first place.  You only need to look at my close up picture of the bar code and
credits on the right side of the top line, 'UK- PCSD 116,' even without being able to see EMI's distinctive maitrix configuration,
the vinyl, cover labels and inner sleeve were all made in England, although a sense of humour is always needed before apparent
mysteries present themselves. Today's confusion is down to Paul's eccentricity, or more likely his sense of humour after releasing
his Russian only album "CHOBA B CCCP," this cover was actually based on that, without collecting records that will not be known
either!  A fantastic textured cover, like the unplayed record, this is in beautiful true Mint condition, which leaves me nothing
else to describe for the rarest Paul McCartney album on vinyl of them all.

  R & M RECORDS.

My lifetime's love of music and records began at a very young age, the arrival of the Beatles and the 1960's decade
in general had a very profound effect. It was only natural to bring all my first hand experience of collecting vinyl
into becoming a professional record seller.  Nearly thirty years ago we entered into the wonderful atmosphere
of record fairs with the highest possible standards set. When the Internet became the world's new market place for
vinyl, in 2001 it was time to join ebay. Those standards were rigidly adhered to as they will always continue to be,
the basics of honesty and integrity were very much part of the era the music I love originated in, so here is our friendly
and very efficient service we are proud to provide;

We have kept all our charges at the same level for years now, but due to the Post Office's new price increases, regretfully we
will have to increase the cost of LP's, however, singles will remain unchanged.  Ebay were aware of that happening and have
increased their minimum postal cost for LP's to £7.00, that figure has been enforced by the UK Post Office and it will become
our UK First Class, Recorded Delivery cost for albums up to the value of £46.  A temporary reduction this week means we can
now post LP's for £5, but who knows how long before the Post Office return to £7?

For LP's valued above £46, the cost will be £9, we are unhappy about either increase but our high standard of packaging has meant
in 13 years of ebay trading, there has not been one record damaged, we are determined to maintain that in the present and future.

IN THE UK RECORDS UP TO THE VALUE OF £46 WILL BE SENT RECORDED DELIVERY, OVER £46 WILL BE
SENT SPECIAL DELIVERY.
