Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. My grading is done visually but I use a lot of light and a magnifying glass to do the best I can to ensure the quality.
I utilize the following when grading the records:
Near Mint (NM) - a near perfect record
Excellent (EX) - A great record, slightly below NM but above VG+.
Very Good Plus (VG+) - Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that does not affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy most that collect albums.
Very Good (VG) - A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
Very Good Minus (VG-) - Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
Good Plus (G+) - In the record world, 'Good' is not good!From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.
