Mega Rare LP of Jimmy Smith - A New Sound A New Star (Blue Note 1514 - mono) Blue and white labels with 767 Lexington Ave address, Deep Groove, RVG ,ear and flat edge on both sides. (no trademark R on either side) The legendary Jimmy Smith along with Thornel Schwartz, Bay Perry and Donald Bailey in a lost Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with plenty marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but actually not trashed either - still, you will definitely hear noise on this one. The frame cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and clear tape (old) on the bottom seam. NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. NOT perfect, but a rare copy of a rare Blue Note.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
