I have been buying and selling records for over 30 years (had an antique booth, sold in a record store and sold on line, where I sold several thousand records), but am now downsizing and have sold all my 78 and 45 RPM records and a large share of the LPs in my collection.  What I have left and am now selling are the more rare records, mostly first pressings, and in VG+ to NM condition.

I grade conservatively on the side of the buyer by Goldmine standards and all the remaining records I have are at least VG+ (VG++ compared to others I have bought on e-bay).  I have not played this record recently, but it should play excellent. If it doesn't play to your satisfaction or you are not completely happy with my grading, please return it within 7 days for a refund. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING.  WE AIM TO PLEASE EVERYONE!

Record grades:

sealed:Original plastic seal still intact, so record is unplayed. Could refer to shrink-wrap on outer jacket, or to inner plastic sleeve some companies sealed.

mint: I consider sealed as this grade.

near mint: Close to new condition. Vinyl surface is shiny. Disc appears to have been rarely, if ever, played. No scratches or obvious marks.

vg++: (very good plus plus) Played, but well cared for. Vinyl surface is shiny. May show minor evidence of use (for example, a small mark here or there), but nothing that would upset most people who aren't mint fanatics.

vg+:(very good plus - also known as 'excellent') Disc may show a few scuffs or surface scratches, but nothing too serious. Disc may have begun to lose a little of its shine. Still in above-average condition and very enjoyable.

This is a 33 1/3 RPM LP compilation of five records by Glenn Miler and his orchestra on RCA Victor label number LPT-6700 recorded in 1953.

RCA Victor presents an anthology of Glenn Miller's imposing contributions to popular music - from 1939, when he first achieved conspicuous success as an orchestra leader, until he enlisted in the U. S. Army.  What endows this project with special pertinence is that, besides being more exhaustive than anything else of similar nature yet released on records, it includes many of the hitherto unavailable performances which Miler broadcast.

It is the first pressing of the records and is in a leatherette spiral-bound binder with silver labels with red print.

It is a collector's issue limited edition Number JJ 932 on the inside cover.

Record Jacket grade: VERY GOOD ++: Nice color, no splits or tears, no creases, no edge wear, no writing, it does have some browning on the inside of both the front and back

cover; otherwise almost like new.

Record grade: VERY GOOD ++ : Brilliant shine, a small light scratch here and there but nothing affecting the sound, no scuffs; very nice.

IT IS A GREAT COLLECTION!!
