David Bowie – The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars – This item has all the attributes of an Original Pressing. The record is the Original Shiny Orange RCA VICTOR pressing. Later pressings of the Album were pressed on Matt orange labels and / or Thin Dynaflex Vinyl. This copy is the original Shiny Orange RCA Victor label with regular vinyl. Catalogue No SF8287 (LSP-4702), Matrix Numbers: Side 1 = BGBS 0864 1E & Side 2 = BGBS 0865 2E, year 1972. There is no “Mainman” credit on the sleeve or record, the label and inner sleeve have the “Titanic Music” credit and the labels have the glossy Orange finish. The record is complete with the inner Lyric sleeve and the Robert Stace sleeve. The Rear of the Sleeve has the “Gem Production” Logo without mention of Mainman beneath. The vinyl is visually in (VG) condition with a couple of faint surface marks / hairlines, and plays through fine with some surface noise (Here and there and in quieter moments). There is the slightest hint of a warp which does not affect play. The glossy Orange label is lovely and clear without any blemishes. The classic & delicate non-laminated picture LP sleeve is in (VG) condition with one small sticker tear / mark top left hand corner. The Spine is fully in-tact, and legible to read. The inner lyric sleeve has a couple of mild creases. This is becoming an increasingly difficult Album to find as a Complete Original pressing, and in nice condition.
