IN A RUSH TO GET THIS ALBUM OUT, CAPITAL ALLOWED SOME COPIES TO BE PRESSED AS THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE PERFORMING RIGHTS ORGANIZATION CREDITS AND GREW IMPATIENT. THEY DID A FIRST BRIEF RUN AT THEIR SCRANTON PLANT AS INDICATED BY THE 3 NEXT TO THE RIAA AND SIMPLY OMITTED THE PERFORMING RIGHTS (BMI & ASCAP).
THIS IS THE RAREST OF THE MANY VARIATIONS OF THE ICONIC POP ALBUM THAT CHANGED THE WORLD OF MUSIC FOREVER.
The vinyl is visually graded at VG-. Many surface marks but none that penetrate deeply.. The play test is a different story and reveals a strong VG and almost VG+ rating. No skips or pops. Plays through very well, albeit some noise in spots, but the engineering of this record was quite loud and you can't really hear the noise except for between tracks. AN ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE. This record would be quite valuable if it were in better condition. The cover is pretty solid. No GEORGE MARTIN credits. No SPLITTING, STAINS, WRITING, BENDS OR CREASES, JUST SOME WEAR ON THE SPINE.
