Vinyl Grade: Near Mint, an extraordinary example.  Vinyl shines like new, I see NO spindle marks on Side One label, and I can only see what MIGHT be ONE spindle mark on Side Two label, when examined under a bright light.  A superb original Japan first pressing of this much loved album.  Amazing condition for any 47 year old record LP, and this is one of the very best loved albums by the most popular group in rock 'n roll history.

Inner Sleeve:  NM black shaped paper inner sleeve, no seam-splits.  LP is stored in a poly-sleeve to protect both the record and the original paper inner sleeve.

Cover Grade:  Near Mint, heavy cardboard cover has straight corners, no seam-splits.  Has the well known track listing error, showing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and "Something" interchanged.  As nice as I have ever seen for this record.

Lyric Insert Grade:  Near Mint, just a few very light brown spots common to many older Japanese pressings.  Straight corners, no tears, no writing, beautiful and all original!

Obi Grade:  Near Mint, rare "medallion" Obi, no tears or repairs, complete with re-order tag on the back side.

Play Grade:  Near Mint, I had to take a careful once-through play of this one (you would have too!).  This beautiful record plays up to its visual condition in every way, a fantastic listening experience.  Easily grades Near Mint all the way.  A real 'archive' copy.

 

Notes: A beautiful Near Mint example of this great Beatles album, complete package (Obi, lyric insert, black paper inner sleeve), a genuine original first Japan pressing on red vinyl, on the Apple label, with the -1 / -1 matrices in the run-out grooves, with NO "Her Majesty" listed on the Side Two label.  You could not find one in better condition.

 

Packaging (open LPs): The album will be removed from the cover to eliminate the possibility of seam-splits.  The LP and cover are placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, and sealed.  The (now sealed) album is then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads, carefully centered and taped together.  This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners of the cover from dings. 

The album “sandwich” is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  The box is large enough that it should easily withstand even being dropped directly on its corner without damaging the cover inside.  I know very well what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, so I am careful to make sure your album is safely packaged and arrives safely.

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

Weight Limit of 4 Lbs. for International First Class Mail:  Please note that First Class International Mail has a 4 Lb. weight limit.  If you make multiple purchases and the combined weight is over the 4 Lb. weight limit we will have to use two separate First Class International packages or use Priority Mail International.  If your combined total is over 4 Lbs. then I will contact you about the shipping (one package vs. two), but the shipping cost should be basically the same.
