Earl Klugh - Late Night Guitar (1980 Japanese 13-track vinyl LP on white promo/sample Liberty Records labels, some regard as Klugh's masterpiece, who takes centre stage on acoustic guitar surrounded by the strings and horns of an Orchestra arranged and conducted by Dave Matthews, housed in picture sleeve, small promo B/W picture, a one paged insert and obi strip, K28P-6052). #1

Description

Record -- Mint- : This vinyl still has a beautiful shine about it; the vinyl has no scratches, scuffs or marks, and sounds wonderful when played. It has white sample/promo labels on each side with a set of Japanese writing saying 見本品 Sample.

Cover -- EX+ : The original heavy card cover. This has no splits, tears or seams coming undone, but has some light ring and shelf wear. On the back of the cover there is a track listing and credits in English.

Obi Strip -- EX- : The original obi strip, this has a couple of small 7-10mm nicks on the bottom edge and back (see picture below), there are no other rips, tears or seams coming undone. All information on here is in Japanese.



Photograph : This has a small black and white promotional picture (approx. 65mm x 91mm) the same as the cover with a catalogue number on, this has no problems other than yellowing slightly through age and humidity.

Insert -- 1 Insert : The original insert which is 1 page 2 sides long, this has a track listing on in English and Japanese and some information and a discography in Japanese, this has no rips, tears or creases, but has yellowed slightly through age and humidity.

Description

Record -- EX++ (or Better) : This vinyl still has a nice sheen about it; the vinyl has no visible scratches, scuffs or marks, and sounds wonderful when played.

Cover -- EX : The original heavy card pasted cover. This has no splits, tears or seams coming undone, but has some light ring and shelf wear and a small dink to the top spine corner. On the back of the cover there is a track listing and credits in English.

Obi Strip -- EX- : The original obi strip, this has a small piece missing on the rear at the seam joint on the back (see picture below), there are no other rips, tears or seams coming undone. All information on here is in Japanese.



Insert -- 1 Insert : The original insert which is 1 page 2 sides long, this has a track listing on in English and Japanese, credits in English and some information in Japanese, this has no rips, tears or creases, but has yellowed slightly through age and humidity and has a couple of light orange spots.

This has no splits, tears or seams coming undone, but as it is a white cover marks and humidity show up more easily, also it has some light ring and shelf wear. On the back of the cover there is a track listing and credits in English. On the front right bottom corner is a small white rectangular sticker with red writing declaring this as a 見本 (非売品) Sample Article Not For Sale.

Obi Strip -- EX+ : The original obi strip, this has no rips, tears or seams coming undone, but has some humidity spots/marks about it. All information on here is in Japanese.

Insert -- 1 Insert : The original insert which is 1 page 2 sides long, this has a track listing on in English and Japanese and some information in Japanese. This has no rips, tears or creases, but the has yellowed quite a bit around the edges from age and humidity.
