On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jethro Tull called "Stand Up" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK Pressing on the RAREST EVER 'Textured' Pink Island 'Block' label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JETHRO TULL'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  TOWARDS THE END OF 1969 ISLAND CHANGED THEIR LABELS FROM THE 'CIRCLE' LOGO TO THE 'BLOCK' ISLAND LOGO INSTEAD.  HOWEVER, CLEARLY THEY WERENT HAPPY WITH THIS LABEL (AS IT ONLY LASTED ABOUT 1 MONTH!) - AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED IT AGAIN TO THE VERY COMMON 'PINK i' LOGO LABEL WHICH WAS USED THROUGHOUT THE REST OF 1969 AND THROUGHOUT 1970.  AND WHEN THIS 'BLOCK' LOGO LABEL WAS USED FOR THIS LP - IT LASTED SO SHORT A TIME, THAT ONLY 2 OR 3 BATCHES WERE EVER MADE (AROUND 1000 COPIES ONLY!)!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY COPIES ON THE 'CIRCLE' LOGO AS EASILY FOUND, AND THE 'PINK i' LOGO COPIES ARE VERY COMMON INDEED (YOU SEE THEM ALMOST EVERY WEEK).  HOWEVER, THIS 'BLOCK' LOGO QUITE LITERALLY ONLY EVER HAD 2 OR 3 BATCHES EVER MADE (AROUND 1000 COPIES ONLY!) The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold 'Pop-Up' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO splits, NO sticker marks, NO edge wear (apart from some almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces to the darker edges!), NO sticker tears, only VERY slight spinal wear, NO rips, NO tears, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO ringwear, a STUNNING white cover back (with only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint 'age traces'!), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, PERFECT 'Pop-Up' figures, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
