Rap Line Radio Promo LP – February 1-15, 1975
Extremely rare vinyl relic… this one features Led Zeppelin, The Band, Clapton, Elton John, Genesis, among others.
“Rap Line – A Series of Rock Impressions” was an early 1970s program of rock related interview cuts sent to radio stations to play between songs. It was produced by the Army ROTC for promotional purposes. The show was hosted by Nightbird (DJ Alison Steele) – each cut was 60 seconds long with 12 one-minute cuts per side (24 total).
Cuts on this disc are titled: Basil, Kirchin, David Essex, The Band, Eating Contest, Lenny Bruce, Shankar Family, Melissa Manchester, John Kay, Hello People, Concerts, Elton John, Murray McLauchlan, Eric Clapton, Chicago, Arista Records, Don McLean, Gordon Lightfoot, Mahavishnu, Genesis, Movies, Gil Scott Heron, Tom Sullivan, J.F. Murphy, L. Zeppelin
Vinyl is excellent, looks unplayed. Cover is generally shiny and solid with some light wear from age. The photo shown is a stock image that is generally representative of the ones I am selling, but I can provide specific photos if requested
