Rap Line Radio Promo LP – December 1-15, 1974
Extremely rare vinyl relic… this one features The Who, The Beatles, George Harrison, and the Stones among others.
“Rap Line – A Series of Rock Impressions” was an early 1970s program of rock related interview cuts sent to radio stations to play between songs. It was produced by the Army ROTC for promotional purposes. The show was hosted by Nightbird (DJ Alison Steele) – each cut was 60 seconds long with 12 one-minute cuts per side (24 total).
Cuts on this disc are titled: Minnie Riperton, Tangerine Dream, Hollies, Robert Wyatt, Robert Fripp, Omega, John Cale – Nico, Elton John, Sgt. Pepper, NYU, Queen, Stephen Stills, Quadrophenia, Zaire, Rolling Stones Circus, Entwhistle, The Movies, Nicky Hopkins, BTO, Percy Sledge, Starship Incident, George Harrison, ELO, Nicknames
Vinyl is excellent, looks unplayed. Cover is generally shiny and solid with some light wear/creasing. Lower left corner is creased. The photo shown is a stock image that is generally representative of the ones I am selling, but I can provide specific photos if requested
