Johann Sebastian Bach: The Six Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin.

Performed by Emil Telmanyi.

UK Ed1 Decca mono pressings from the 50s.

Three separate LPs with article-nos. LXT 2951-2953

LXT 2951 & 2952 have orange and golden labels (both pancake.grooved), LXT 2953 has orange and silver labels (ungrooved).

 Stamper-nos: 2951: 1D/1D, 2952: 1A/2A, 2953: 1A/1A.

Date imprinted on all covers is 54/8

Condition Covers: VG to VG+. Very thin, almost flimsy early unlaminated flipbacks with some general wear. Either with stickers with alternative article-nos,

or remains of glue where these stickers fell off. Rubbed edges, some ring-wear. minimal pen-writing, no splits.

Condition Vinyl: EX to NM. Played a couple of times, but very well cared for. A couple of superficial hairline-marks visible, but playback with a stereo pick-up is great

throughout with only minimal surface noises.. Exception is the beginning of side 1 of LXT 2951, which has a hardly noticeable groove-damage which results in about 20 rather loud tics at the very beginning.

Besides that this is a marvelously preserved complete set. Not an easy find in this condition! All massive pressings, more than 200g each.

General Information:

- Shipping-rates may differ for different destinations, please check details below for more information or shortly adress me.

- I offer combined shipping for multiple purchases and I'll always send an invoice with correct rates shortly after auction-end.

- Unless you notify me in time, payment is expected within 5 days after receiving of invoice. If I don't at least hear from you in between, I'll send a non-payment notification through Ebay
   afterwards.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

- If in doubt about anything, please contact me, I'm glad to assist you with any possible queries!

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
