This fine UK 1st stereo pressing dates from late-1968 on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7067/8

The 'An EMI Recording' text is omitted from disc 1 but included on both labels of disc 2.

A rare 'KJT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 3 label.

Matrices: YEX 709-1/710-1 & YEX 711-1/712-1

Stamper codes: 1/PD, 4/HT & 5/AD & 6/LP

Vinyl weights: 146g & 157g

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed top-opening stereo gatefold cover numbered: No.0491924

100% complete with: 4 x color portrait photos, white protector sheet, UK printed poster & original matt black die-cut inner-sleeves.

 

CONDITION

Labels: MINT -

All are perfect clean & unworn with less than a handful of faint spindle trails on each, but none at all on label 3.

Disc 1: EXCELLENT +  Disc 2: MINT -

Each playing side is perfectly clean & retains its original deep-gloss factory shine, undulled even by the harsh matt inners. Disc 1 bears a couple of very light non-sounding/non-feelable marks beneath halogen light. Disc 2 appears flawless.

Audio: MINT -

Played just a couple of times on quality equipment, all tacks play clean & clearly with no audible issues. The vinyl is quiet and crackle-free, making it a worth candidate for your final upgrade.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A fine clean, glossy & white example with minimal storagewear only. The laminate around the raised front panel wording is fully intact and the unique number is bold and unworn. The only real flaw is a moderate bump to the lower right corner. Both panels inside the gatefold are clean & undamaged and the small 'stereo' indicator' is clean & readable on the rear panel. The spine laminate is fully intact along its entire length and both sets of lettering each end are covered and readable.

Poster: EXCELLENT

Light handling wear only.

Clean & flat with light storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
