This is part of a big auction of Checker & Chess 45's I'm running this week. There are lots of rarities and few Chicago-area surprise items here. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Vee-Jay/DeLuxe Records auction starting 6/12 and King/Federal auction in late June.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Eddie Johnson & His Orchestra - Cold Cold Heart / Walk Softly, Blues
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1951
Notes: Very hard to find early 50's record with noticeable push marks. This one is more jazz than R&B/blues like a lot of the stuff on Chess.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl looks good with just a few hairline scuffs on Side A. Plays great and sounds great with 2-3 ticks of random light crackle, mainly Side A. Labels are really clean with great color. See pics for exact details, nice copy overall.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
