This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Release: J.B. Lenoir - What About Your Daughter? / 5 Years

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1957

Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing with the "guitar neck" pattern.  Early single and one of just a few on Checker by Lenoir who was born in Mississippi. The A-side here is a upbeat bluesy R&B track. B-Side more piano and sax driven and a little slower. 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with light but visible hazing, but no actual wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers. Just the slightest bit of scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
