Like most labels, Atlantic Records sent out promotional copies of their records to radio stations. A very small percentage of those albums were monaural pressings, now coveted by collectors and music fans alike. Mono commercial issues of most albums (at least those recorded in stereo) were phased out by 1968, and now these promo-only monaural versions are even harder to find.
Original promo-only mono pressing of Led Zeppelin classic 3rd album. This is a white label issue on Atlantic 7201.
White label record has a few light marks and plays VG++ (or better), with just a couple of quiet spots where there's light surface noise. There are no real scratches and it's very listenable.
Gatefold cover is a stock stereo one with 2 stickers, one listing the artist/title/songs and the other a monaural promo sticker. The cover is VG to VG+, with some edge fraying, overall rub & ring wear and some slight rippling (from moisture?). The wheel is intact and functional.
