All
records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra
information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above
are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
These records are in excellent+ condition. There are some faint spindle marks on each label but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres show a little wear but are not loose or worn and overall the labels are in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, all sides are really clean overall, have a vivid shine and have nothing remotely serious visible
in normal light. There are few light minor lines, occasional small mark and a few lines of incredibly light groove wear in places but all these issues are very minor and there is nothing remotely sinister on any side. There are more light wispy lines
and very minor faint 'sleeve scuffs' visible
when viewed under very bright white light but again nothing remotely
sinister or serious. The records have no nasty scuffs, serious marks or
blemishes and both have a lovely vivid shine.
I
play tested
both the records and they played really well. They lay flat with little
to no movement in the record arm on either. The
sound produced is excellent throughout all four sides with little to no
interference and of course no serious issues. The audio
was crisp, dynamic and very clear with only a very light
trace of surface noise in the run in and occasionally between some
tracks. There are no skips, jumps or clicks and I didnt even note one
single pop throughout the four sides. It was a pleasure to play test a classic double album with great audio and a clear defined sound.
The gatefold sleeve(which has 'The Beatles' embossed to the bottom right corner) is
in very good+ condition. It has some wear and laminate lifting/cracking to the edges and
corners(pics), but the writing along the spine is still legible. There
are no splits, scuffs or pen marks
anywhere, but there is a 1" tear to the rear left edge. Other than the mild edge wear and the tear there is also some age related discolouring throughout. This is by no means drastic but the white is not super bright as it should be. So overall a solid sleeve with no massive issues but the tear, mild edge wear and discolouring as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but
please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as
possible.
It contains both its original
plain white EMI inners which are in a similarly very good+ condition.
Neither has splits, tears or pen marks but both do have some light
creasing, ring marks and age related discolouring/staining.
It has none of its four photograph inserts included unfortunately as these have gone missing.
It does include its large fold out lyrics/poster. This is in very good+ condition with no tears, pen marks, scuffs or major creasing but some 'age spots' or yellow discolouring over both sides. This is worst on the lyrics side but there is some showing on both sides.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my Ebay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
