This record is in excellent condition. There is light spindle wear just visible on the labels(textured) but it is not obvious to see, and there are no pen marks anywhere. Overall the labels are in great shape; they're clean, bright and free from any serious issues.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a few light hairlines on either side, and also one small 1cm mark right at the end of track 5 'Look In To The Sun'. When viewed under very bright white light there are a few more extremely minor wispy lines as to be expected with a record of this age, but again nothing really serious or sinister. The record has no serious scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine.

I carefully play tested the record on my system(SME 3009 tonearm, Technics Deck and Ortofon stylus)and it plays really well. It lays flat and there is next to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is superb; its crisp, dynamic and has very little interference other than a very light trace in the run in and occasionally between some songs. The only other interference I picked up on was caused by the mark in track 5 on side 1 mentioned above. This caused light clicks for the last 10-15 seconds of the track and into the deadwax. These were not the loud, nasty clicks caused by really deep marks, but those which were only just audible in parts. They are there none the less and although not disastrous can be heard in parts. There are no skips, jumps, serious really annoying clicks or any other major interference. Its a really enjoyable audio experience and was a pleasure to play test.

The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has wear to the edges and corners, and the writing along the spine has been affected(see pics). Despite this wear the spine is strong and there are no splits anywhere, although there is a 1" section on the bottom rear edge where one may develop. There are no tears anywhere, but there is a considerable grubbiness to the back, with also a 'black smudge', ring mark and pen mark in the top right corner. There is also a pen mark inside the record housing as seen in the last picture above.

However the edge wear and condition of the back are the worst of the problems as the front looks great with no serious issues. Inside the gatefold is also in brilliant shape, with the iconic 'pop up' clean, bright and fully functional. So overall it is in good strong condition all round with just some small defects as to be expected with a something of this age.

It contains a replacement white inner sleeve which is in excellent condition with no splits or serious issues.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent with a new plastic protective outer, within 24hrs of payment to ensure swift delivery.
