Horace Silver & Jazz Messengers LP Blue Note BLP1518 MONO 1958 2nd Press RARE
Vinyl: VG Visually looks VG+ with only a couple light hairlines / scuffs, mostly plays great with a light rustle here / there and some light tics, but overall very nice. Few light tics side one track two, little repeating tic on side two track one (about 9 tics in 10-15 seconds - not super loud, but there) and a couple on side two track two. Overall very strong / nice playing VG copy of a rare mono LP! Solid copy!
Jacket: VG shelf / age wear. Top and bottom seam have split coming off jacket opening (top about 3 inches, bottom about 2). Spine has wear. “Shub” written in pen on BACK of jacket. Not terrible for its age! Jacket has the Lexington Ave address.
Both labels looks great!
Blue Note BLP 1518. Mono. 1958. Second press. “RVG” and ear in dead wax on both sides. Hard to find!
