You are bidding on a double vinyl record by Pink Floyd titled The Wall on Columbia Records catalog number PC23183 in 1979. This is a VERY RARE FIRST PRESSING with TIMING STRIP on the front and gold stamp FOR PROMOTION ONLY on the back. Timing strip says Demonstration Not For Sale and was only placed on a few of the records given to radio stations for pushing certain songs to get radio play. Promo stamp on the back was placed on all copies given away by the record company. This copy has DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE on each of the labels making this copy extremely rare. Probably not another copy for sale on ebay. These special labels were only placed on a few hundred copies of this platinum sales album. Also proving an original first pressing is the clear wall sticker on the front and credits say words and music by Roger Waters and other band members are not listed. Very early matrix numbers PBL36184-1AB, PAL36184-1C, PAL36185-1AA, PBL36185-1A. Cover is in very good condition with some ring wear and age spots on the back. Inner sleeves are split with one being taped. Vinyl is in very good condition with minor marks. Special labels are in very good condition. Thanks for looking and bidding.
