Beatles Related 45 Freddie Lennon “That’s My Life” NM Rarer Styrene Pressing

Released in 1965, John’s father tried to cash in on his son’s fame.  I YouTubed the song, which is quaint, cheesy and a bit of a cringe.  I wouldn’t recommend it…however, it did make for a very rare collectable!

Most copies you find (when you find them at all) are pressed in that very heavy vinyl stock that ARP and Monarch Records used.  Even copies in NM condition sounded scratchy straight from the store.  Most Motown 45’s used that vinyl.  This copy is pressed in the much cleaner styrene stock.  My tone arm is frozen, so I can’t play it, however most styrene records sound really, really good.

Sleeve:  Generic white sleeve in excellent condition.

Vinyl: NM.  Looks 1965 brand new!

NOTE: There was NO flash used on any of the photos!  What you see is the actual condition of the 45.  I NEVER use a flash, which is a terribly misleading way to photograph a record.

Stupid-rare 45 in stunning condition.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
