Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, 1958’s Moanin’—featuring the great drummer with trumpeter Lee Morgan, tenor saxophonist Benny Golson, pianist Bobby Timmons, and bassist Jymie Merritt. Corners may be a little worn down from being on the shelf and moved around but it’s never been opened. This 2008 Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition, is mastered from the analog masters by Ron McMaster.
