I am proud to present the recently-discovered stock from the former Rialto Record Store, in Chicago. Discovered in 2013 in an attic near the former store's location, these records are a stunning find. Though the store's sleeves advertise "Every Record Guaranteed New," after decades of storage the records now range from E to V+ condition. Some have clearly been played, while others appear to be new. I will be listing these special titles in my store in the records under "Rialto." It is rare to know the provenance of old records, and rarer yet to discover new old stock. None of the records in this special collection date after the 1920s, so I'm guessing this store failed to survive the depression era. Some titles even include the original Rialto sleeve (last photo), though most do not. (Those records that include the Rialto sleeve are pictured with the included sleeve). Enjoy!

Up for sale is a classic record from the 1920s - a vintage 78 (Victrola) record, featuring John McCormack on the VICTROLA Label. In E condition. This record appears to be new and unplayed.

Note: music samples below are for your convenience only. They are researched and links are pasted so you can hear the songs. They are not recordings of the actual records in my collection, and may be different versions from those that I'm selling. Having said that, I do make an effort to at least assure you're hearing the artists and (where possible) exact versions that are on these records.

E+ Appears new, with very few signs of handling, such as light paper scuffs.

E- Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few scuffs and light scratches.
V+ Average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat.
V Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. May have surface noise and light distortion.
G Worn and scratched. Music should still be above noise and distortion.
G- Wear and scratch damage extensive
