These guys really dig Converge a great deal, as made apparent by their feedback + uber-fast snares + mid-paced, sludgy riffage. However, they have a real knack to intersperse blastbeats and tremolo in their d-beats. So where to start?

The singer's pretty awesome, a bit distinguished from the Hardcore genre. The riffs are pretty nice, but really seem too Converge-y. The band does throw in something surprising ever once in a while - completing a fucking nasty sort of sound.

21 minutes in is a great example of this, as we reach Bell of Urgency. Barks wail over tremolo picking and slow crushing riffs that you would expect from Esoteric. This kind of leads me in to my next point:

The metal worship. USE IT! IT SOUNDS GREAT! In the past, these guys were closer to the Hardcore end of things, but MAN do they sound great when they mix Doom and Black Metal to their sound. Would've easily been better should they've done this.
