Long one of my favorite Can recordings after Tago-Mago, the Original US Vinyl LP Can - Soon Over Babaluma - United Artists UALA343G (1975), is the sixth studio album by Can. This is the band's first album without Damo Suzuki. It is also their last album that was created using a simple two-track recorder. After this recording the spontaneity of their work was far less evident than their earlier work; their defined "liveness" was reduced to more concentrated production control, thus their future proving the adage that more is actually LESS. (My opinion.) Seller is the original owner, and the LP has never been out of my hands since purchase. The original paper LP sleeve has been replaced with a VRP sleeve to protect and preserve the vinyl LP. This is a used recording and has been played minimally and only on high quality playback equipment, and has been handled and stored with great care. Never-the-less, he jacket has suffered some minor abuse since it is a foil wrapped cover. The bottom left corner, particularly, has crumpled, but the cardboard is not broken, merely bent. There is also more than a reasonable amount of rubbing damage to the front and back covers. This is not truly visible in the pictures since the aluminum covering has been difficult to get a clear image photographically without halos and reflections. Payment is through PayPal only, after which it will be shipped within the United States only and exclusively through the US Postal System by low cost Media Mail, unless other arrangements are made prior to payment.
