On offer here is Museo Rosenbach's "Zarathustra" ~ the Contempo gatefold reissue of this revered Italian progressive masterpiece!  I've enjoyed having this in my collection since purchasing new in 1993, but it is time for this record to have a new home. 


Condition:

Vinyl:  It is generally in excellent condition.  There are a few minor pops opening up side 1 and some minor pops/crackles heard in the quiet parts in the rest of side 1.  Really, very minor and it certainly didn't diminish my listening pleasure.  Nothing heard at all during the louder sections of the epic suite.  Side 2 is even better with less (and more minor) pops/crackles.  If one wasn't listening intently, and in a quiet environment, you may not notice a thing (other than the great music:).  I did not hear any noticeably obtrusive flaws on either side.  Visually, under strong lighting, some paper scuffs/hairlines are present from removal and reinsertion into the inner paper sleeve.  I've been the only one to play this wonderful record, on a Pioneer PL-200 turntable, and with plenty of care.  I don't have a proper LP cleaning machine, and a good cleaning would no doubt be helpful and likely reduce some of the minor crackle.  Overall I'd rate side one excellent and side two between excellent and mint minus.


Gatefold Cover:  For the most part, this looks like it did when it first arrived.  There's a tad bit of corner wear and you'll notice from the photos that the bottom spine (middle and right side) has some shelf scuffing.  Add in a couple very tiny marks in otherwise what I'd consider a strong mint minus.


Paper Insert: The inner paper insert is in excellent condition.
