British rock legends, Iron Maiden, are one of the biggest bands of all time and enjoying huge global success right now. However, in 1998, during a 5 year span with Blaze Bayley on vocals in place of Bruce Dickinson, the band were at their lowest point of commercial success. But a degree of success continued and their die-hard fans were still being rewarded with some wonderfully packaged releases.
In 1998, the band previewed their Virtual X11 album with the single, 'The Angel And The Gambler', a minor UK top 20 hit. The single was released in 3 very special edition formats and the most rare was the 7" picture disc!
Available here is a very rare 1998 limited edition picture disc version of the 'The Angel and The Gambler' single!! It includes a bonus live track on a double sided full colour picture disc housed within a specially cut sleeve with artwork by Derek Riggs.
