Consistently very high quality psych, with lots of fuzz guitar, male/female vocals, and excellent song writing on the mostly soft and mellow mat'l. Musically this album is a high quality mix of psychedelic rock and folk. Most of the songs have male singing which is nice but I still prefer the female singer on the lengthy title track. "Years Before the Wine" is absolutely brilliant and it's the standout moment here. But the rest of the tracks are really good too and overall this is a really strong effort in my opinion.
