For sale is vinyl album by Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass titled "Whipped Cream & Other Delights", originally released in 1965 by A&M Records and has a dark tan-olive colored label with the A&M Records logo in a box to the left of the spindle hole. I bought this used and immediately cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine before putting it into an archival inner sleeve. Doing this protects the vinyl and any inner sleeve or insert that may have come with the album. The inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax between the last tracks and the labels is etched the matrix numbers 1-C/1-C, indicating that an early stamper was used to press this release. This is a hallmark of state-of-the-art engineering, sought out by collectors and music lovers for their superb sound qualities . The cover is graded as Near Mint with just two very minor corner blunts on the right side corners, but otherwise the jacket is shiny and glossy with vivid colors that looks brand new. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with shiny and bright surfaces, in a like new condition, without smudges, surface scratches or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Excellent with some occasional ultra low level surface noise, more noticeable during the quiet sections of playback and between tracks. It has a clear, spacious sound stage with pin-point accuracy, especially with the guitar, piano and of course Herb's trumpet solos. It plays all the way through without any skips or pops. This is still one of the best copies of this record that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this hard to find record in this condition, especially a first pressing. I have more Latin albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
