We grade our records using the standard guidelines found in Goldmine's Record Album Price Guide 10TH EDITION and Jerry Osborne Official Price Guide. It still comes down to our own personal opinion, which is mostly a visual inspection under lighted condition (which means they are not all play graded). The condition grade given is located in the title or just below at the top of the page (example: VG is for very good, etc.) Jacket grade first / then vinyl (example: VG/VG+) If both are graded the same only one grade will be given.
I also do a quick D4 cleaning (a thorough cleaning is recommended) before I ship and professionally pack for safety. All our vinyl records are shipped in professional box mailers with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap.
