New Order - Substance vinyl 2LP original UK issue 1987 Fact 200.

I have zero knowledge of vinyl or how to grade them correctly. I can only describe what I see and show you the photos I have taken. Plus the tiniest bit of information found on google. So apologies.

I am hoping to sell some records for the charity shop I volunteer in, they never seem to sell any records for more than a couple of quid. And they have been donated a lot of them recently.

This is the first for me, a try out.

Please look at the photos to help with my description of the condition.

The cover sleeve is embossed. You can see a ring the discs have made, the front is a bit worse. One corner of the cover has come unstuck. There’s a crease to the front bottom left corner. There’s a shop sticker top right. The cover rear has a stain top left corner and some other marks. I haven’t touched anything.

Inner sleeves - both show the rings from the record. And the stains are on both, back and front. Whatever liquid made the stains also stuck the two inner sleeves together and it has made a bit of damage when they were pulled apart.

The records - sides 1 and 2. A few fingerprints, dusty and cats hairs. There are some marks on side one which sort of look like scratches but have no depth. Kind of scuffs. Side 2 looks ok to my unknowing eye.

Sides 3 and 4. Fingerprints and dusty again. And one of the light not deep scratch marks. I will try to show how in a photo. I have held both up sideways and the middle hole looks fine so perhaps not played that much.

I can take extra photos and will answer any questions if I can.

Sorry for the long description but I have recently become  aware of the grading system and know what is expected but sadly I can't do that.
