This is the original deep-groove pressing of Chet Baker “Ballads” on the small (3 ½”) labels of Riverside RLP 12-299. The playing surface is as-new, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated West 51st St. cover is in exceptional condition throughout; the back slick shows normal age toning and one small chip at each lower corner.
Personnel include Pepper Adams, Bill Evans, Kenny Burrell, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
