This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of Wayne Shorter “Speak No Evil” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST 84194. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; ¼” wear at the bottom right corner; normal rubbing along the bottom seam; light discolorations at the center of the back slick. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Elvin Jones.
