This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Archie Shepp “Fire Music” on the coated labels of Impulse A-86. The playing surface has several light, inaudible handling marks/scuffs, but is otherwise in excellent condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated gatefold cover is clean and bright throughout; the bottom seam has slight rubbing and ¼ wear at the opening; ¼” wear on the top seam, near the spine. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
