Very clean playing RCA Bluebird disc of classic double entendre blues by two of the greatest of that genre. Listen to the videos of both sides below. Labels on both sides unblemished. Disc grade of VG+ has scuffs and wear but plays very well with no noticeable individual scratches affecting play and no physical damage. RARE in this condition ... very nice desirable and collectible item. 

 Walter Davis and Tampa Red were both great blues artists known for their raw  off-color double entendre lyrics. This record features great numbers by each of them. Davis was known rich singing voice, his very colorful and eccentric piano style and for his varied repertoire, including melancholy songs,  humorous songs, and songs laced with double entendres such as this one on this record ,"Think You Need a Shot". Tampa Red is known both for his often bawdy songs and as a  guitarist who had a distinctive single-string  style. His songwriting and his bottleneck technique influenced other leading Chicago blues guitarists, such as Big Bill Broonzy, Robert Nighthawk and Muddy Waters, and many others, including Elmore James and Mose Allison. In a career spanning over 30 years Tampa recorded, blues, pop, R&B and hokum songs. This record is a nice piece of blues history in a very collectible and enjoyable condition. Listen here below:
