The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band FIRST PRESSING PMC7027 MONO.
This is the 1st Press from June 1967, identified as follows:
Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd laminated flipback gatefold inside flipback sleeve with "mono" PMC 7027 number on rear side. Dark green cut-outs insert and original psychedelic red inner sleeve. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. "The Gramophone Co. Ltd" printed at the start of the label perimeter print, and "Sold in U.K. subject to....." text below the Parlophone name. Matrix numbers: Side 1 XEX 637-1 / Side 2 XEX 638-1
The sleeve is in Very Good condition. Whilst it show signs of wear through usage and storage, there are no tears or seam splits. The laminate is in very good order and whilst there are signs of it lifting in places, it is still intact and none missing. There are no pen markings or any stickers.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. There are numerous surface marks but no deep scratches or marks which affect playback. There is some surface noise but mainly only noticeable in the gaps between songs. In many cases, sound quality is VG+. The only exception is some additional surface noise in She's Leaving Home and For The Benefit of Mister Kite, the last two tracks on Side 1. I would describe the sound as Good, rather than Very Good on these tracks.
The original red psychedelic inner sleeve is included. It has a seam split and signs of a previous tape repair in one area.
The dark green cutouts insert is present and is in excellent condition.
