This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Bennie Green “Soul Stirrin’” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1599. Other than normal inaudible storage splotching, the playing surface is in new condition; perhaps played once. The laminated West 63rd cover is in extraordinary condition – clean and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seams; light age toning on the left edge of the back slick. Personnel include Gene Ammons, Billy Root, Sonny Clark, Ike Isaacs, and Elvin Jones. $400.00
