This is the original deep groove pressing of Thelonious Monk “Plays the Music of Duke Ellington” on the white labels of Riverside RLP 12-201. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated West 49th St. cover is clean and bright throughout; light rubbing on the front; 3” split on the top seam, at the opening; 1 ½’ split on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Oscar Pettiford and Kenny Clarke. $150.00
