This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Lou Donaldson “Swing and Soul” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1566. The playing surface is generally in excellent condition; a small mark near the beginning of the last track on Side 2 creates ten tics. The laminated West 63rd St. cover is in remarkable condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seams; small checkmarks above the musicians’ names on the back slick. Personnel include Herman Foster, Peck Morrison, Dave Bailey, and Ray Barretto. $500.00.
