This
is the original deep groove pressing of Kenny Dorham “Jazz Contrasts” on the
white reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-239. The playing surface
is in near-new condition, with an amazingly high luster; perhaps played once.
The laminated cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; 2
¼” superficial wear on the top seam, at the spine; ¼” wear on the bottom seam,
at the opening; 1/8” x ½” chip at the top left corner of the back
slick. Personnel include Sonny Rollins, Hank Jones, Oscar
Pettiford, and Max Roach. $400.00.
