Quentin Dupieux aka Mr Oizohas  shared the first taste of his new album All Wet in the form of new single ‘End of the World’, which features none other than world-conquering superstar producer Skrillex. The two titans come together with a rolling breakbeat and pneumatic percussion heralding in a robotic, disembodied vocal… now it’s gonna be exciting to watch the end of the world. Speaking about the collaboration, Mr Oizo said, "I could spend a month watching Sonny making beats on his laptop, he simply is the best of this new EDM generation. Since I'm the best of the old electro dudes, we had to do this tune together." While Skrillex commented, "If you told the kid Sonny 10 years ago ‘you'll make a track with Mr Oizo in the future’ I wouldn't believe you. Fast forward to today and it's still surreal to me. Oizo was one of my main influences when I started productions as Skrillex and being able to sit next to him and absorb his mind was a priceless experience for me." Dupieux first picked up a camera and starting making movies aged 12, and shortly after began composing electronic music as a means to soundtrack his films. His teenage movies were bought by Canal+, and he released his first EP in 1997 under the name of Mr Oizo.  In 1999 Dupieux was asked to make a TV commercial for Levi’s and Flat Eric was born, a furry yellow character he created for the occasion. The track ‘Flat Beat’ which was featured in the commercial topped the charts in Europe the first day it aired and Flat Eric instantly became an electro superstar and a pop culture icon of the ‘90s. Since then, Dupieux has directed 6 full-length films (Nonfilm, Steak, Rubber, Wrong, Wrong Cops, Reality), released 5 Mr Oizo LPs (Analog Worms Attack, Moustache (Half A Scissor), Lambs Anger, Stade 2 and The Church), 4 original soundtracks (Steak with Sebastien Tellier& SebastiAn, Rubber with Gaspard Augé, Wrong with Tahiti Boy, and Wrong Cops), and a number of EPs and remixes for the likes of Justice, Air, Calvin Harris, Tiga, Kavinsky, Scissor Sisters, Jamie Lidell and Boys Noize. On this sixth LP, his third for legendary Parisian label Ed Banger Records, Mr Oizo has invited friends to collaborate, ranging from the aforementioned Skrillex to punk-electro pop star and performance artist Peaches, pop hook genius Charli XCX plus established electro masters Boys Noize and Siriusmo to name but a few.  This isn’t a features album per se, it’s wall to wall Oizo production with a few curveballs thrown in. Irresistible.
