PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

RARE! and great (GREAT!) 1967 original pressing in beautiful laminated cover, of the mighty second and sadly last album by Les Baroques, the Dutch beat/psych band who made two terrific albums worthy of collection....

So, here's a MINT (((rare))) TOP FINAL COLLECTION COPY of a cool solid beatrock/pop-psych mix sound. Very English "swinging '60s London" compares to the first "Idle Race" or "World of Oz.   The Dutch popsike/beat band formed in 1959 as the Modern Teenage Quartet. They changed their names into the Hurricane Combo and changed again in 1965 to Les Baroques.

The first single, a great one at that, “ Silky” mysteriously flopped, although now is highly rated and expemsive...Nevertheless BAROQUES toured the Netherlands and Germany frequently playing great gigs and attracting more attention wherever they played...

Les Baroques' second and final album, is a vastly unknown and ultimately an underestimated Lp, getting better and better with each spin (it's been one of our favorite albums for years) ...a tightly crafted mix that adds that soulful '66 Small Faces Mod-beat sound along with super catchy dementia-tinged melancholy and moods, shining on the fantastic flower-power tracks "Love Is The Sun" and "Barbarian's In Love" ...other high spots include "Oh, Look How Sweet," catchy baroque-rock in the English style, and a moody organ workout on the standard "I'm Coming Home Baby."   LISTEN to the Baroques by clicking-on below

CONDITION: The Cover: M- TOP COPY it's a laminated very fragile cover...50 years of age yet still bright and colorful ...4 sharp corners, so hard to find so clean and rigid...there a slight bit of age on back cover but clearly still in "EX" (excellent) zones is as clean as the front otherwise. There are no split seams, no writing or other issues, definitely collection worthy...

The Vinyl: M- BEAUTIFUL ! NO MARKS, impossible to find THIS clean! A teen seen '60s artifact that went virtually untouched! The thick heavy '60s platter is real glossy over both sides, looks 100% smooth and clear so plays perfect ! (((and has spotless clean OP-ART "Job Records" labels...)))

A cool addition to anyone's music library!
