PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

TOP COPY ... rare 1973 pressing in MINT!

Obviously pressed from the original metal plates ... have you ever compared the 1973 Japanese issue with the German pressing? The Japanese issue lifts-off like audiophile, stunning soaring highs and lows with optimum wide range impact ... far surpassing any other pressing!!

Very rare 1973 original issue of the famous Krautrock "Beast" BLACKWATER PARK....

We clearly remember what it was like to be a music collector at the turn of 1970. So many GREAT bands with so many records and so many of them obscure…it was a big treat to find cool records, now so many of them so sought after and incredibly rare. BLACKWATER PARK recorded only one album in Windrose Studios during December 1971. This is a prime hard rock outfit with an English vocalist and a sound that drives collectors to fork over hundreds of dollars for the platter. Combined with elements from multiple extended melody structured jams, budding rock sub-genres in constructing their complex sound: hard rock, blues-rock, jazz-rock, acid rock, prog rock, and even proto-metal. Blackwater Park was an obscure band that emerged from the Berlin underground scene ,their unique album "Dirt Box" 1971, published on BASF in 1972 in Germany, 1973 in Japan. Blackwater Park delivers a captivating, effective bluesy-heavy rock "trip" with lot of incisive guitar riffs, progressive Hammond Organ's arrangements, melodic heavy vocals and psychedelic effects that are all part of the greatness that is. Their British singer had a strong voice as can be heard on especially the third killer-heavy track "Indian Summer", which clearly shows us the quality, engaging and virtuosity among its members. Despite all the devestating heavy-psych, remember that the last song is beautiful version of "For No One", composed by Lennon and McCartney, with the album 'Revolver' issued in 1966. On the whole, Dirt Box is a very addictive album, especially if you’re in the mood for rocking out, or just for some good old plain fun. Whether you are a hardened fan of this type of music or a newbie just starting out, Blackwater Park made an album to satisfy both parties, with strong performances all ‘round and great accessibility kraut power band whose work is essential for collectors.
